Here is a very nice 1979 VW Beetle Convertible. I bought this vehicle for my wife 7 years ago and it has been driven only about 500 kms since that time, and all in the Summer. It has been garge kept out of the B.C. weather all the time. The odometer reads 14, 199 KMS, NOT MILES. I am hazarding a guess that this would be a turnover after 99,000, but I am not positive. The car is original metal etc... so it could very well be the original KMS becasue the car is in fantatstic shape. When I bought this car it had been completely restored and the engine was completely rebuilt. The car starts with no problems every time and runs exceptionally well for a 32 year old VW. It is very peppy and easily cruises at highway speeds with no effort. The only thing not done was the interior and I bought the carpet from a VW restoration company, and fit it myself. I had the seats redone by a professional reupholster here on Vancouver Island. They did a fantastic job. Pics attached pretty much explain the car. There is one rust spot on the rear trunk panel around the licence plate, and a large scratch, not down to the metal, on the front right fender. All other panels are in excellent shape. The car was originally from California, then sold to a woman in Duncan, BC, and that is the person I bought it from. All shipping, taxes, brokerage or fees to get the vehicle to your place is YOUR responsibility The VIN is correct but it is next to impossible to find a history on a 10 digit VIN number. : Note. the VIN is correct. Pre 1980 VINs for V|W were only 10 difits. I have tried to find a VIN check for this car but it impossible.
