1985 Diesel Golf 2 dr 220K 40+mpg 1.6l NA Diesel Manual 5 speed. The Good: starts on even the coldest day. CD player with aux input. Good tires. Rebuilt master cylinder and rear brakes / bearings. Clean newer paint, nice interior. Doesn't burn any oil. I would drive this car anywhere right now, as is, without worrying. Issues: Floor needs attention, drivers seat has some play. Alternator belt seems to wear out quickly and squeak, I just keep tightening it. Seats are from a 4dr, so they don't have the quick release, but there is a fix for that too. Drips some oil from where the dipstick goes in and from way up at the valve cover. I'm into full disclosure... so this fairly states what I know, but please ask questions. I have a roof rack and hydrogen generator for a little bit extra.
