The 1958 Oldsmobile is a classic and very rare. The car has been in storage and driven periodically. The paint is in good condition. I have own the car for about 8 years and intended to restore it to show, since it appears to be 99% mostly original. The interior is in great condition, including headliner all of which is original with no tears. The rocket engine runs strong. All tires are new. There are a couple of surface rust spots, about the size of a nickle, along the rocker panel. I suspect there might be some rust under the carpet on the passenger side (front), because the door glass was missing when I purchased the car. And the prior owner let the carpet get wet. I replace the glass with one from Vintage Glass. All the chrome is there and in good condition. All the dash instrumentation works. The chrome on the dash is awesome, although the dash needs to be painted,( sun fade) The front bumper has a crease in it on the driver side. Someone installed and 8track player, I assumed during the 1970's but it still works.The mileage is low and base on the condition of the car, I believe it to be original as well. The car can be restored easily and you can drive it daily while you do the work. I drive the car on the interstate in Atlanta at about 75-80 mph and it just glides along smoothly.
