This auction is for a 1999 Honda Odyssey minivan needing work or for parts. This is the base model with A/C, power windows and door locks, tilt, cruise and power mirrors and not much else in the way of options. Has 171,000 miles on it and still runs good with no smoke or knocks, but the torque converter is acting up and will need either a torque converter or a transmission rebuild. It has no rust, but has lots of dings and scratches but no serious damage other than the tears in both corners of the rear bumper cover. The passenger side mirror glass is off and I do have it. The interior is dirty and shows wear. The cloth on two of the door panels has come off ( I'm pretty sure I still have them) and a third is coming loose, the carpet and floor mats are worn, there is a stain on the carpet cargo well, the seats have no tears but need a good cleaning. The van was parked almost a year ago when the transmission issue started. It still runs and drives but the transmission is slow to engage and shifts hard. The problem gets worse the farther it is driven, so the buyer should plan on towing it home. As for the condition of rest of the van, it had a remanufactured alternater and new belt, new EGR and new IAC installed about 250 miles ago, new front brakes including rotors and a four wheel alignment about 3000 miles ago at which time the garage checked out the suspension and front end and said everything was in good condition. When I started it up and moved it to take the pictures, the brakes were scrubbing due to oxidation. The battery is getting weak. The windshield is good. As of October of last year the A/C was still blowing cold. The exhaust is quiet but it is throwing a code for the catalytic converter. The tires still have quite a few miles left, the left front has developed a very slow leak since it has been stored. The SRS light is on. One of the plastic plug wire covers is missing.
