Vehicle Detail
1999 Chevrolet Cavalier for sale this car is a one owner car that was used primarily to get back and forth to work -- mileage is low for the age and the interior is nice for being a '99 --like most cavaliers of this age, the paint started to go bad on the hood and roof so i sprayed with rustoleum and it surprisingly looks pretty decent for a non-professional --car might need a starter down the road but it starts fine now -- i've noticed that at times you have to engage the starter just a couple fractions of a second longer than a new car (honestly, it has been doing that for years but i want to be upfront about it) --the car temperature seems to get hotter at times and then colder so I'm not sure if it's a minor gasket issue or temperature gauge issue (I noticed it about 3 weeks ago and have since driven over 300 miles without any problems or overheating) -tires are good -consistently changed oil over the years -heat & air, cd player, sunroof (or moonroof, I dunno the difference -- (you push a button and it slides back)), a couple of small dings (normal for any car) but nothing big let me know if you have any questionsOn Feb-17-11 at 13:26:03 PST, seller added the following information: to sum up a couple emails... All interested parties are welcome to check the car out -- just let me know and we can meet This car is AS-IS -- meaning I am not providing warrenties On Feb-19-11 at 06:04:04 PST, seller added the following information: Others... I have the title and no liens are on the car. I won't accept an offer by email -- I have to sell to high bidder. The sheen of the rustoleum paint and 1999 factory black are not a 100% match but look close in my opinion. I'm not a mechanic so I can't offer opinions regarding the starter or the temperature issues. I stated a gauge or gasket issue for the temperature BUT I don't know anything for certain. As I wrote earlier, the car runs fine now but is being sold as-is. Let me know if you want to see it or take to your mechanic for analysis. thanks for the interest and look --
