If you wonder why I sound up front and cruel, try selling on here , you will see. 1982 Dodge rampage project I purchased to pull on a tow dolly behind an rv due to it being front wheel drive. That dream and the Motorhome is now a far out dream. This Dodge had been sitting under a carport for years when I purchased it. Very solid and original. I like Dodges, I like the fact it's a car /pickup with leaf springs and 1/2 ton pickup weight rating, and I really like the fact it's rated at 40 MPG from factory. 2.2 automatic trans, power steering. power brakes. Must be 128,000 ??? Other speedo cluster included says 10,500 was changed due to a broken needle. Body is very solid due to being a SC , GA car, no salt, and it was rust proofed years ago by Ziebart where they drilled holes and pumped rust proof in all panels. It has worked on this one. It does have some driver floor pan rust from water leaking in and sitting on carpet. Not real bad, some small holes in front, and larger ones in rear behind seat. Could be fiberglassed easy. I have shown pictures underneath. Has original paint, small corner of lower drivers door looks to have been worked on years ago due to a dent. Front fender has small dent-------- see pictures. Car had old gas in it and I had it pumped out and it runs better all the time. It has an exhaust leak by manifold where spring bolts hold it. gasket?? It starts up good but idles slow until warmed up. I can still smell old gas in exhaust but running better all the time. I have not driven it on the road but jacked up wheel and it shifts all 3 gears, reverse etc. The brakes are very soft from sitting, the emergency brake does not hold. Acts like no rear brakes. It does drive and stop around the yard ok. I have some extra parts that are included, a replacement front turn signal light. The stock steering wheel and horn button , another gauge cluster for the dash. A spare electronic computer brain for ignition system. The interior needs headliner because of glue seperating from board, easy fix. Needs new carpet. Top of door panels have had cracked plastic glued. One windshield wiper arm is missing, I noticed a small chip in pass. side windshield. I have a clear no problem SC title signed by previous owner. You get the idea, This is a very rare (look at completed auctions to see prices of these) little truck. It is a very solid non salt car. They usually are all rusted out. I have not done anything to it, not even detailed it. It is a great little PROJECT car and parts are very inexpensive for these . Sold as -is.On Feb-17-11 at 12:43:30 PST, seller added the following information: Update; I just had car idling for about 1/2 hour and noticed antifreeze driping from the water pump vent hole. It is very easy to change and parts are very cheap for this 2.2. Again ,I want to stress this is a car that has been sitting for years. It starts good, drives and stops with poor brakes. I know nothing else about it due to the fact I never registered or drove it. It is sold as-is and I don't want complaining after the sale. It's a very rare super solid car .
