This sweetheart is a collector/specialty car dealer trade in. Bought new in Florida by original owner, then moved to PA. where it eventually got traded in. Original owner was first owner, then dealer was second owner and we are now third owners, but really only had one driver/registered owner other than dealer. 1988 BMW 325i Cabrio model Convertible with the straight 6 cylinder, 4 speed AUTOMATIC Transmission, power steering, brakes and windows, air conditioning, factory am-fm-cassette radio, all original owners manuals AND original BMW cassette/head cleaner kit! Car also has leather seating, honeycomb alloy wheels, factory tachometer, power mirrors and did I mention........57,000 ORIGINAL MILES?!?! According to some service records, what we were told and what we have noticed, this car had about 53k miles in 2006 when the timing belt was replaced, has recently new brakes all around and recently new tires which are Dunlop SP Sport radials with a good 80% tread left on them. Car has also just had BRAND NEW safety AND emmissions inspections done which are good through 03/12! As you can tell, car was maintained properly and driven very little...only 4,000 miles since 2006....kept in garage for last 5 years and driven very little.! Interior is very nice, original and clean. Drivers seating has very minor wear from use and the top of back seat has three stitched seams that have some light fraying starting but all in all, great shape and very, very nice! Guages all appear to work, windows work, heat and radio work, etc.....Really nice car and she is clean! Body is also in excellent shape with no rust or dents! Car has gorgeous, shiny red paint, nice trim, nice bumpers, good glass, etc....straight, solid and clean body on this sweety! Underneath is also in excellent shape with solid and clean floors, unibody, mounts, suspension, etc.....all clean and original, no rust and no signs of bottoming out anywhere. Exhaust all looks great and appears as original equipment, engine/transmission appear clean and dry and she is just really nice outside and underneath! Top is in good shape but has a few little frays at seems and minor wear/small tears at the folding points but nothing major and still looks great! Rear top window is starting to fog and has one small tear but again, looks good and still functional. The top shows excellent and looks great and these flaws are only noticeable up close. Top works properly and still very nice. Car starts up and runs super! No odd engine noise or smoke, idles smooth and quiet and revs up strong with no hesitations!--------- Super nice runner! Transmission shifts properly and car drives/handles excellently with nice handling, smooth ride and plenty of power! NO known problems or issues on this collector quality driver!! *********Jump in and drive it!! There you go folks, super nice Convertible BMW car, SUPER rare find with only 57k original miles......not new or perfect but probably as nice, or nicer, than any other '88 out there!!......hard to find a nicer one!
