Vehicle Detail
This is a very clean Subaru. I am selling it for my in-laws. It was a dealer loaner before they purchased it a few months ago. My father in-law is 84 years old and should not be driving, in fact, he had not driven in over three years when he bought this car. He just decided he wanted to go places by himself and needed a car. About one month after he bought it, he accidentally accelerated to quickly, jumped a curb and hit a tree in his church’s parking lot. It injured his wife of over 60 years so he decided to give up his drivers license for good. She refuses to drive the car and he no longer has a license so the car is sitting. After the run in with the tree, it went to the Subaru dealers body shop and was repaired with only Subaru parts. The repair is so well done, you would never know about it if I did not tell you. Every bracket, screw, tie strap, etc is in place as from the factory. The car was put on one of the few in-the-south Subaru frame machines to make sure there was no misalignment on the car. It is now straighter than a new one. The paint is perfect, when you look at the car, you will not be able to tell where it was hit. He had me drive him to a CarMax near his home and they inspected the car, all they said was it had a small bump on the front end. They found the car to be perfect and really wanted it for there showroom. However, they wanted to pay very little so they could make a lot of money. It has less than 24,000 miles on it. When he bought it from at the dealership, he had them put new tires on it as a bonus. You will not find a nicer Outback anywhere. It has all the goodies all new Subarus have, it lacks very little. It has the remainder of the factory warranty so you can buy with confidence. Please contact me if you are interested. The sale is to be cash when you pick it up.On Feb-23-11 at 11:01:48 PST, seller added the following information: Feb. 23, 2011. I think I may nave answered a question incorrectly about the car. I was going by what the dealer saleman said when my father in law was purchasing the car. He told us that the trans was the CVT automatic. After doing some research and questioning of him, I now believe it is a four speed automatic. If anyone wants to retract a bid based on this, it is fine with me and I will help in any way I can. Sorry for the mistake.
