Vehicle Detail
Classic 1977 Beetle Convertible - No Reserve Odometer stopped working so mileage is not correct (speedometer does work) 1977 White Volkswagon Super Beetle. Located about ten miles from Philadelphia Airport in Deptford NJ. The car starts and runs good. Has a new carb. good clutch, transmission and engine. New CD player and speakers. 4 New Tires. Clear title The NADA low retail on this year car is $6475 (http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1977/Volkswagen/Beetle/2-Door-Convertible/Values) The car needs a new top, one of the top brackets on the roof frame also may be broken above the rear glass window. Horn, lights and turn signals work however dashboard turn indicators do not work (bulb?). I dont think the heater is currently hooked up (car was a viginia car). Floorboards good however some rust found behind rear seat, and a patch was applied under battery. Glass all good and windows roll up and down. Exterior in good shape just a few rust bubbles have formed that I have tried to show in pictures and video. Has jack and spare tire (spare rim is slightly bent which may not hold max air pressure). I do not have a key for the doors. Great fun classic that is ready for the spring and the summer. The car is being sold as is. $500 pay deposit due within 48 hours, the balance is due within 7 days cash or cleared funds when the car is either picked up locally (I feel the car can be driven anywhere) of if u arrange a mover Ill drive it within 50 miles of Philadelphia. Car includes a car cover plus John Muirs classic book - How to your VW alive, and the The Haynes VW repair maual and a copy of the owners manual. :) Feel Free to Contact me the owner - Joe at 609-665-0567 or JTFertsch@hotmail.com The car is in good shape but not perfect and has so much potential, I am always getting thumbs up and compliments. Drive and love it as is, or drive it while restorinf it. Great Investment. This collector year was the last year of the classic beetle in the US.
