Vehicle Detail

Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by buying direct and saving the expense of the fancy lot and salesmens commissions. I personally test drive each vehicle so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. My descriptions are my honest opinion of each car based on my test drive. The information contained within my description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Questions and personal inspections are welcomed and encouraged. Please DO NOT ask if I have a "buy it now" or make me an offer to sell it early. In the interest of fairness, I do not end auctions early. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Today we have one trooper of a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport. This one is finished in a bright red and gray two tone exterior. There is some clearcoat coming off on the hood. Otherwise, the paint looks great. I could find NO RUST on this truck which is significant since rust is a huge factor in ANY Explorer. The wheels are factory chrome and the tires have plenty of tread left. All of the glass is in tact. Overall, this is a great looking truck. Just look at the photos! There is a trailer hitch on the rear with a four pin connector. The discoloration on the rear hatch in the photos is from the headlights of the Blazer running behind it. The interior of this Explorer is very clean. The arm rest is broken as most Explorers are. The gray cloth seats are clean and show no real signs of wear. The carpets and headliner are clean. The cargo area is spacious and clean, too. All of the electronics are in working order. The climate control works as it should. The stereo is an aftermarket AM/FM CD player with auxillary input. One really cool thing I noticed is that this CD player has a USB port for charging things like cell phones, ect... There is a set of owners books in the glove box, too. Mechanically, this truck just won't quit! The 4.0L engine has a pretty good valve tap but starts right up and idles smoothly. During my test drive, the engine held perfect temperature and perfect oil pressure. The clutch is easy to operate and the transmission shifts well. The engine makes great power and runs well...tapping all the way, lol! On the highway, it drives strait as an arrow. The suspension and steering are tight. The brakes stop the truck well and show no pulsation or noise. She is PA inspected through June of this year. This truck is 2WD...NOT 4WD. I have seen no leaks to be concerned about. This one seems to be a strong runner in spite of its valve tap and should make a nice, cheap ride. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
