THIS IS A PROJECT CAR. The listing includes two 1947 Cadillac 60S cars and a 1976 Cadillac Coupe Deville. For Sale is a project that needs to be completed. The 1947 Cadillac that is the primary car is the first 60S to go down the production line in 1947. The Vehicle Identification Number is 6420001 and the body by Fisher is #1. These numbers were confirmed and the build sheet from the GM Heritage Center along with extensive information is included. The second Cadillac 60S was purchased as a donor car and an example of what bolt goes in what hole, for the restoration of #1. While there are all the parts to complete a restoration, the original block for the #1 car is missing. The 1976 Cadillac was purchased as an option to use the drive train as a donor (500 cubic inch V8 and matching transmission) for building a custom car out of either of the 1947s. If your are into Cadillacs, this is for you. These cars are going to sell as I need the room and my wife gave me the "ungarbled word." The #1 car is rust free and the chassis is completely re-done with new and rebuilt original parts. It is painted and under the body as a roller. The body is in perfect condition, also rust free, and the main structure is painted in the original Dover Gray. The top is in primer and ready for the Steel Gray color as original or for any color the new owner wishes. The car is also in covered and protected storage. The second 1947 and the 1976 Cadillacs are rollers only and do not run. The buyer will need to move three cars and a ton of parts.
