THE VEHICLE WAS JUST PAINTED WITH ALL DUPONT SINGLE STAGE MATERIALS DUE TO FADEING AND A FEW CHIPS. AS YOU CAN SEE IT EVEN HAS THE BLACK FENDER SPACERS WHICH IS UNHEARD OF IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT 914'S. EVEN THE HEAT WORKS. I HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW OF THESE AND TO FIND ONE THAT SHIFTS PERFECTLY WITH THE ORIGINAL FUEL INJECTED 2.0 IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE. THE ORIGINAL CARPETS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND I WILL BE THROWING IN A PAIR OF ORIGINAL OLD PORSCH MATS I HAD HERE. THE ONLY THING AT ALL I CAN FIND THAT YOU MAY WANT IS THE DRIVERS DOOR CHECK ROD, ITS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE IT MAKES SURE U DONT OVER OPEN THE DOOR AND MESS UP THE HINGES (THEY ARE $25 FOR A COMMOM VW ONE ) AND ONE WHEEL CENTER CAP. THE FLOOR PAN HAS NO ROT WHAT SO EVER AS MOST ALL STHRN CALIF CARS. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD UNDERCOAT THE VEHICLE TO KEEP IT IN THE CONDITION IT IS IT IF YOU WANT ME TO HAVE IT DON I CAN DO IT FOR $200 OR IF YOU DO IT YOURSELF IT ONLY COST $50 FOR UNDERCOATING. THE INTERIOR IS JUST AWESOME AS YOU CAN SEE. THE CONSOULE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION AND YES ALL THE GAGES IN THE CONSOUL WORK AND THE CLOCK KEEP PERFECT TIME WHICH I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. THE TIRES ARE ABOUT 90% TREAD. THE PORSCH ALLOYS ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE GLASS IS ALL GOOD. THE 5 SPEED TRANS SHIFTS AWESOME. THE WEATHER STRIPING IS VERY GOOD. THE MOTOR RUNS PERFECT AND THE BRAKES WORK EXCELLENT. THRE SUSPENTION AND STEARING IS TERRIFIC. THE EXHAUST IS SOLID. THE DRIVERS SIDE VALVE COVER LEAKS A LITTLE THE GASKETS ARE $18 SIMPLE TO PUT ON I WOULD DO IT FOR YOU EXCEPT I HAVE A PINICHED NERVE IN MY SHOULDER AND I AM TOTALLY OUT OF COMMISION.
