This is a relist as the first aucton did not meet the reserve. I have lowered the reserve by $1,000 and started the auction where the last one left off. I am only selling to meet medical bills. There are about 200 miles on this sence the rebuild. It runs great. It would cost you more than the Buy It Now price to get it to this condition. This is a factory 302, 3-speed, AC, PS, PB Mustang Coupe. Note the AC is not connected. I disassembled EVERYTHING from the windshield forward. I completely removed any rust, primed and painted each surface. I completely replaced the entire front suspension. I did not simply replace the ball joints. There are new upper and lower arms, springs, seats, breaks, bearings, etc. The front steering has been completely replaced with new inner and outer tie rod ends, power steering piston and control valve, bushing and grommets. The 302 engine has been rebuilt .40 over. It has a slightly stronger than stock cam, hydraulic lifters, Crain Cam 1.6 roller rockers, HI-PO heads that have been ported and polished, oversized valves, double valve springs, High Volume oil pump, Double timing chain, Heavy Duty water pump, Dual Plane High Rise Air Gap Aluminum Intake, HEI ignition w/8mm wires, Edelbrock 4brl w/elect choke and mechanical secondary’s, Mr. Gasket Injector Scoop. This motor has less than 5 hours on it. Aluminum radiator with temperature controlled elect fan. New battery, Alternator and Starter. Dual Exhaust with Glasspacks New gas tank and sending unit. New rear brake cylinders and shoes New front brake cylinders and pads New U-joints It has a 3-speed top-loader transmission with a new clutch and linkage. 14” Crager rims in fair shape with new tires. New shocks on all 4 corners. New headliner and seat covers, Aftermarket Oil pressure, Water temp and Voltage gauge. New drivers door shell. New weather-strip all round. The car has hail damage from prior to my purchase, but it has not ever been wrecked. All the molding is there and in good shape. The interior is very nice, but needs a new dashpad. I have a dash cover on it at this time and looks good. This car will get up and GO. I drove it from Carlsbad to Artesia (35miles) at 75 and got 12.5mpg and the engine is not broke in yet.
