Up for auction is a 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE model. I recently purchased this vehicle from a friend who had to sell it for personal reasons and I wanted to help him. The good: The car runs and drives very well. Makes a great family vehicle as its a 4 door 4 cylinder vehicle. Brand new battery Engine runs very well Automatic transmission shifts well AM/FM stereo CD player Cruise control, heater, power windows, power brakes, power steering, rear defroster Includes a brand new set of door locks (need to be installed) Pretty low miles for model year of car Clear Virginia state title Exhaust replaced a few years ago Tires appear to have good tread Virginia state inspected through NOV 2011 Has air conditioning, but its too cold outside to see if its charged or not Sunroof As with every car, there are some minor issues: Gas tank has a small leak (I did purchase a replacement which comes with car, I just have not installed it) but car can still operate just fine as it is Outside door locks do not work for some reason (I bought a replacement set which comes with the car) Has some rust spots/rust holes in body. One small dent on passenger side fender Sunroof power switch does not work for some reason, so I have not been able to actually open the sliding sun roof open. Could be fuse? According to the experian background check from ebay, this car was involved in an accident in the past.The title I have from the guy I bought it from does not say salvage title. I have no knowledge of anything in this cars past. As stated, it runs and drives fine and I listed everything I know about the car. I want to be 100 percent honest up front. Those are the only known issues I know of. As stated car runs and drives just fine. The interior is pretty clean overall. Car is located in Christiansburg Virginia 24073.
