1968 Jawa Type 559 "Veteran" Cycle Matching Duna Side Car w/ accessories Matching Motokoli Pull Along Trailer Jawa Type 559 Veteran Motor Cycle 1968, 250cc, two stroke engine. Completely Restored in 2002. Less than 30 miles since restoration. Four speed transmission. Matching tuck & roll upholstery for the cycle seat. Original license plate included. Check out the single cylinder engine with dual exhaust, the shifter pedal that also acts as the kick starter. Beautiful red paint with gold pin stripping. The cycle runs and operates perfectly. Manual included. Duna Side Car Made of steel and aluminum, with a four point mounting system developed for both JAWA and BMW. It has an adjustable, Torsion bar Suspension. The side car is wonderfully designed and has this wonderfull "Buck Rogers " look to it, with its unique nose piece. The exterior is a match to the JAWA cycle and is the upholstery matching the cycles seat as well as the matching wheel and wheel center cover. The side car includes a tonneau cover and lexan wind screen. It weighs in at a mere 80 lbs. Motokuli Trailer Manufactured in Hungary, the trailer is aluminum, with a single wheel, articulated knuckle attachment devise. The finish is a match for the JAWA and Duna Side Car. The interior of the trailer is lined with aluninum and can either haul gear or keep your drinks cool. It pulls beautifuly and wieghs only 60 lbs. The Rig The cycle, side car and trailer have always been together. They are in excellent condition and were designed to fit this cycle. Amazingly the combination runs smoothly and quite quick. The two stoke engine gives great power for its size and pulls this rig quite well. It looks great and is clearly ONE OF A KIND! As shown at the Hilton Head Concours. Museum quality! There is a Hungarian title for the cycle. It can be transfered in your state. Please check out my other auctions.
