You are bidding on a RARE EARLY ORIGINAL E30 1988 M3! The Build Date is 5/87. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe there were only 786 M3s produced in the first year. I am putting this up for auction b/c I do not have the time to restore this beauty! This was my first sports car that I have owned since 1994 and now its time for her to go to a better home! IT DOES NOT RUN SO THIS WOULD BE A WONDERFUL PROJECT FOR A BMW ENTHUSIAST! It won't take too much to restore b/c this is in such EXCELLENT CONDITION unless you want a total restoration. This car has not ran since 2005 and has been garaged kept. I have no idea why it stopped working but I think the computer system went bad. At the time, I replaced the Wires and Plugs, Distributor Cap, and Rotor Button. I also replaced the exhaust(it has 2000 miles on it...cost $1200) and the tires(4000 miles on them and they are still excellent along with the tread). The paint is between GOOD and EXCELLENT! The only thing that needs repainted is the Rear Decklid Spoiler b/c it has cracks. Other than that, it just needs wet sanded and buffed. The body is in EXTREMELY GOOD CONDITION! The only flaws are two small dents the size of a dime located on the left rear between the quarter window and back window. The other flaw is located on the sunroof where a small spot of bubbling shows. THERE IS NO RUST ANWHERE ON THE BODY OR UNDERNEATH!!!!! The Interior is where the issues are. All the seats need to be redone. The Headliner is EXCELLENT and the carpet is FAIR. For the carpet, it just needs to be taken out to be properly cleaned and shampooed. The door panels are fine. They just need to be redyed. When it last ran, all the electricals worked. This includes Windows, Doors, Locks, and Sunroof. The Radio is Factory AM/FM Cassette and it worked. It will need the code to program and I do have that. Other Factory Items included are BMW Flashlight, Tools, Jack and Center Cap Locking Wrench, and Spare Wheel and Tire. Also, I bought two Center Caps and the M3 Emblem for the front grill so this will be placed in the box they came in. I just put them on the wheels for the pics on here.
