1972 Impala Custom Coupe Up for auction a 1972 Impala custom coupe that needs some care and time to get her proud once again. The Impala still wears the original gulf green paint and green cloth interior. The body had minimal rust (see photos) and scrapes/dings and broken door and trunk lock. The interior needs work, carpet,front seat etc. It has a 350 engine with edelbrock manifold and a mild camshaft with newer dual exhaust. The engine makes lifter noise (probabably just valve adjustment) and needs a tune up due to the Impala sat for 2 years before I purchased it. The transmission is sluggish when cold though fine after warm up (needs fluid and filter change). The heater core was just replaced though the blower motor does not turn on, though worked fine a month ago and the passenger side rear window will not go up. The Impala does drive nice on the road with no wandering. All in all as mentioned before, she needs some elbow grease to get her shining again.
