Here's your chance to own a rare piece of Automotive history by Mercedes Benz. This 1986, 190e 16v of less than 2000 where sold in the US that year, is in great running condition. Driven daily, I originially purchcased this car to do a full restoration. However, since enrolling in school, I have neither the time or money. My loss is your gain! Some things I have done since purchase include: All New Ignition wiresNew distrubuter capNew fuel injectorsNew batteryNew AlternatorNew RadiatorNew fuel filterSpark plugsRebuilt Fuel distrubutorOil changed regularlyNew tires about 1,500 miles ago Some things that need to be done and I have the parts for:Sunroof motor Some things that need to be fixed still: Dash has cracksClock does not workRear seat has a thread split The Cruise, all windows and door locks work. All lights, turn signals, wiper, horn etc. work. The floor mats are there and the interior looks decent. The stereo is crappy, but that was the last thing on my list to restore anyway. This car has no electrical problems. No odd lights lights on (ie. check engine, oxg sensor etc.) Starts every time and does not smoke. This car has never been in an accident. However, last year, while driving on the Interstate, I ran over a piece of rubber tire tread thrown from an 18 wheeler. This rubber piece did a slight bit of damage to the right side body molding just behind the door near the underside of the car. This small piece of body molding was replaced with a factory part from Mercedes. Other than that all of the paint is original. I have a clear car fax and title in hand. You will find a few minor dings, but good shape overall for a 24 year old classic Benz. You will get many thumbs up from newer Mercedes owners and car enthusiats that know the history about this car as you fly by at 80+. This car drives and performs the way Mercedes intended!
