1946 FORD SUPER DELUXE SEDAN BARN FIND SCTA Hey Guys. 3wLarry from the HAMB. I have a confession to make…I originally bought this little car to steal the original flathead out of it for a hot rod project. But after getting it home and cleaning it up some, and seeing how complete and original it really is, I’ve decided someone else should restore it back to its former glory…or hot rod it and slam it to the ground with some wide whites…Oh Yeah. I’ve added a couple of pictures of what this car looks like restored or rodded…these old sedans are pretty cool. This sedan is amazingly rust free...check out the underside of the doors! There’s a small rust hole the size of a half dollar in the passenger front toe board. The original paint on the floor in the back seat is equally amazing. There’s dings and dents here and there, but it’s really in good shape considering I found it sitting outside of a barn in the elements for the last 48 years. The license plate is from 1963. The motor turns over when you rock the car in gear, so it’s not frozen. The front seat cover is one I had on a shelf and doesn’t really fit, but it looks better than what’s under it! I love the original aftermarket accessory sunvisor…it’s a “Comet Sky Shade”, made by Pleckat. It’s aluminum and it’s very cool! The wheels and tires are just rollers, but they hold air.
