Red 1999 Suzuki Bandit GSF600S $1850 Great condition with under 12,000 miles, starts right up every time, even in the cold weather. Slip on Yoshimura exhaust (great sound/performance upgrade) with new front and back tires. Everything runs beautifully as the bike was serviced and maintained by Cumberland Cycle Center Suzuki through regular and appropriate check ups (I have a few records). Bike was layed over in motion one time on the left side, full repairs were made to all parts necessary for the bike to run, and run well. Fairing has scrapes across the accented area on the left but remains attractive. One small ding in the gas tank near the handle bars which can be concealed with a tank protector. The right side of the bike is practically flawless. Bike is an electric start revving up to 12,000rpm and runs a 6 speed, 1down, 5 up transmission. Bike carries slightly under 5 gallons of gas which can get you between 130 and 200 miles in a tank depending on how you ride. The Bandit is considered a "Sport Tour"because of the upright riding position, but don't let this discourage the adrenaline junkies, it's sport bike fast. My friend rides a 2006 R6 and, even though he'll better me on the straight away, I'm right with him in the windy country roads. Max speed of 130mph, sits just wonderfully around 70 and 80. Very comfortable riding position for those long scenic rides in the country, while also allowing room to slide back on the seat to dip behind the windscreen for some real action. A great bike if you're just getting into street bikes and you want something easier to handle than a GSXR600 or an R6. I bought this motorcycle as my own first street bike, and I could not be happier with the machine. Great to learn on, great to chill on, and great to look at. Whoever's thinking about this bike should know the it's not cosmetically perfect, but it does provide every little bit of thrill a sport motorcycle has to offer, while being a safe and comfortable alternative to the other racing 600cc's.
