Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next car through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by cutting out the expense of the fancy lot, salesmens commission and all the other bull you end up paying for. I personally test drive each vehicle so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives to the best of my ability and knowlegde. The description contained in this listing is my honest opinion of every car. My description is true to the best of my knowledge but not guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Please read the entire description thoroughly and ask all questions before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada. It is finished in a dark green metallic color with rare black leather interior. The paint is in good condition and shines up well. The drives door is beginning to sag a little bit which is normal as these trucks age. This is a great looking SUV. In fact, there was a water line broken in another part of my warehouse so I couldn't wash any cars today. For the photos, this truck had been snowed on and then driven about 60 miles before photos. I could find no rust on this truck. The paint is chipped on a corner of the front bumper and the fender trim is cracked in a very small part at the passenger rear door which is barely able to be seen. The tires are fairly new all around. Overall this is a good looking truck. Just look at the photos...and remember it wasn't even washed! The interior is pretty clean, too. Other than a small rip by the drivers seat controls (see photo), there are no rips or holes in the leather seats. The leather is soft and supple, not dry and hard. The carpets and headliner are in great condition, too. The drivers door panel is cracked from someones knee (see photo). All the electronics seem to be in proper working order. The Pioneer CD player sounds good. All the glass is in tact. The climate control is functioning properly, too. The inside of the Bravada is much nicer than its Blazer or Jimmy siblings with nice wood accents and a floor shifter. Mechanically this Bravada is in good condition, too. The 4.3L vortec V6 starts right up and idles quietly and smoothly. The 4.3 Vortec is one of my favorite engines. It is pretty much 3/4 of the 5.7L V8 found in GM products for decades. They are very reliable and not much ever goes wrong with them. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts as it should. The SmartTrac ALL WHEEL DRIVE system is another advantage over the Blazer and Jimmy. The Bravada is one of my favorite trucks. I've owned several and my wife drives a 94 Bravada currently and we love it. The suspension and brakes are nice and tight as they should be. The steering is a little floaty, in my opinion (tie rod ends or ball joints most likely) but it's not a major problem. Driving down the highway, this truck makes plenty of power. The engine keeps a nice cool temperature and perfect oil pressure under all driving conditions. I did notice a little oil drip under this truck. It's in front of the engine under the bumper so I would guess it's a small leak from the oil cooler line...again, nothing major but I want you to know. Overall this is a good truck that has plenty of miles left in it for the next owner. Bid with confidence...this is a great running truck that looks good, too.
