1984 Cutlass Calais. This car was in bad shape when I got it. The original color of this car is red with red interior. Interior - The wiring in the dash was all over the place. I tried to put most of the wiring where it's supposed to be. The power locks don't work. Some of the gauges don't work. The Speedometer and Odometer work. The miles the odometer shows I am not sure if they are the original ones. The car had been sitting for a few years. It has all brand new interior. Most of the plastic has been replaced with the original tan plastic. There is some red plastic like the T-Top trim that was painted tan. The dash was brown and has been repainted tan. Now the plastic that has been repainted, has been repainted, with primer and paint that is specifically for plastic and vinyl. All the seats, panels, and head liner have been re-upholstered. It has new carpet and custom made floor mats. It has power driver seat. When I put it together it worked for about a week and then it stopped. I haven't had the time to figure it out. The seat belts are also brand new but, the driver seat was made a little too short. I found that out once everything was back together. The interior is too nice. I don't want to take off the plastic and take it apart. As you can see in the pics I have chromed some parts that originally are black. All the Interior lights are white LED as well as the Exterior lights are LED as well. The Sun Visors are not are not the original ones for the vehicle. They fold down for the windshield but, they dint move to the sides. Exterior - The Roof Top has some dents. They were not fixed because I was originally going to put a vinyl top. I regret not fixing it. I think it looks allot better without the top. The car never came with a I was just going to add one. It has the original aluminum hood it is very light. The head vessel, the grille, and the wheels were originally black but I tried something new. I went Blue on Blue. The hood trim has been re-chromed. It has a new Calais hood emblem which are very hard to find and rare. Motor- The Motor is the original motor. It has not been rebuilt . It has been cleaned and painted. It has a new DEMON carburetor, Radiator, allot of chrome pieces that I have added to it. Has all brand new tires as well as a spare.
