1968 Charger RT 440 car that you will not be disappointed with, there are plenty or regular chargers out there cloned as an RT but this is the real deal, and getting hard to find not all restored, and this one runs!! engine was replaced some time ago with a 383 four barrel so its not a numbers matching car, but still retains its original transmission and rear end(3.23 sure grip) you cant go wrong with this one at all. Go out and find a replacement 440 thats unstamped and you are in business. its currently registered and It runs strong, I put a new holly 650 cfm carb and stock cast intake and new intake gasket, also I put in a new fuel pump. The exhaust needs some work, from the header flange back is good with flow-master mufflers, but the headers and exhaust gaskets are junk and will need to be replaced in order to hook up the exhaust fully. Tires are ok to transport, but its going to need four new tires, they are all dry rotted and loose air over a long period of time. The lights on the car work, there is a headlight out, and the lights go up but need some help. The speedometer works, the amp gauge works, the oil pressure gauge needs to be connected to the sensor(I cant find the wire) and the gas gauge isn't accurate. The brake pedal is tight and stops on a dime, but I have never driven this far so i'm not sure how reliable they are, but enough to drive on a trailer. You will not be able to drive it home!!! The gas tank was new 10 years ago before in hit storage in 2001. This was a light green, black vinyl roof, black interior Charger. Car is what you see in the pictures, its pretty much all complete. interior is all there except for the radio, the dome light works, map light works and the heat works on all speeds. Car has been in storage since 2001, and needs to be restored. The ignition switch is hanging and needs to be fastened to the dash, the retainer nut is missing. Frame rails are perfect, but rockers need work. and quarters need work on the body line down, as one side is dented(passenger). Real XS29 RT, and was a 440 according to the vin.
