This is a 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with a 500 cu in V8 engine. I bought the car about 10 months ago after passing it for a couple of years in a classic car lot near Peoria. I was hoping to put a few thousand into it and drive it on weekends in the summer. The car needs a lot more time and money that I can afford to give it. The car runs, I drove it to and from my mechanic for evaluation and some repair work. I put a new battery and starter in it. It has all the original Cadillac markers, trim and original hub caps. The body is in pretty good shape a few rust spots on the body (surface only) and some bubbling above the wheel well skirts. The rear floor boards have been repaired previously and some repair is needed below the top storage well. There are some rips in the interior and the original radio was removed. All glass and top is in good shape one small rip approximately 2 inches long in the top which can be repaired without replacing. All power windows and seat work, it has telescopic steering wheel cruise control and climate control heat/AC. This car would be perfect for someone that can do most of the restoration themselves. The car can also be stripped for parts and sold for alot more than the low reserve. Odometer reads 53566 but there is no real way of knowing the actual miles. Items that I know need need to be repaired or replaced Speedometer not working, right CV boot is torn, power steering stabilizer pump is leaking, transmission dip stick shaft is loose and leaking, crack in drivers side exhaust manifold, muffler and tailpipe need to be replaced, Convertible top motor not working (switch and relay working), Vehicle sold "As Is"
