I am relisting because some guy tried the I will pay more than you are asking so you can pay my shipping scam. Sorry to those of you who made offers that I was considering. 1975 MG Midget. This car has been in storage for four years. It was running well before storage. I put the car in storage due to moving for a new job. I am selling the car because I am not going to be able to enjoy the car so I would rather sell it than let it rot. The paint is fair. It is not as good as it looks in the pictures. There is some some surface rust on back of the car and trunk lid. I know these things rust from the inside out but this rust is surface due to the old paint cracking. There is some true rot in the sills. It is small but it is in the sills. The rest of the car is solid. The floor boards are good and do not have any rust. There is a small dent on the left front fender near the headlight. It is not very voticeable. It is about the size of a childs palm and pretty shallow. The interior is good. The top is in great condition. Tires are bad but hold air. Cracking in sidewalls. The car shifted well when I was driving it. However, the hydraulics will need attention as the car has been sitting so long. No leaks that I am aware of. Front suspension seems good. The rear suspension was converted to spax tube shocks. The right rear shock mounting bracket was broken while being brought to my house on a roll back. The engine turns freely with the starter. The car rolls reluctantly as the breaks are grabbing. The rear trunk deck lid is rusty. There are some extra parts that go with the car. I have a pair of rebuilt rear hydraulic shocks in good condition as well as shock links and check straps to put the rear end back stock. I also have a brand new pair of leaf springs from Moss. I also have the original steering wheel in good condition. As it stands the car is complete and mostly stock. I would be willing to meet a shipper and help load the car but you need to make arrangements and pay for shipping. I am not shipping the car out of the country.
