This is a beauty! For auction is a 1966 Mustang. First off, let me say I bought this car with the intention of restoration, and I just don't have the time to put in to doing much to it. I've done a little to it, but between school and work I have very little time, and we decided to sell it for now. Everything I mention or is in the pictures in this auction comes with the car. I have driven it very little, once in a while for short distances and when people come to test drive it locally. The car seems to drive fine. It has the origial In-Line 6-cylinder. Original 3-speed stick transmission. It's manual steering, manual brakes, and no A/C. The car has been repainted candy apple red, and the only thing the man that owned it before me did is add silver flecks into the paint. The interior has been repainted red as well, the carpet has also been replaced. The front and back seats are, I think, the original, the headliner is new, the dash is in rough shape though. The radio is original but it doesn't have speakers so I don't know that it works. The odometer and speedometer works but I do not know the correct milage. The horn button does not work, but the horns are attached, just no wiring going to them. I have the wiper switch but I could not get the wipers to work. The glass all is in great shape and original from what I can tell. It does have some body damage on the front lower valance. That is the only damage that is on this car from what I can tell denoted by the picture. I have the rear bumper support but not installed. I have a brand new glove box but I didn't install it either. I have bought new back-up lights and new seals for the lenses, installed. I have bought, from eBay used but good shape tail light lenses installed. I bought the car with a new carb, and I do have the air breather. It has a new alternator, a new water pump and I believe a new thermostat, and new 4 wheel brakes. It had an oil leak in the mains when I bought it and bought a dipstick because the one that was with it had a broken handle. The oil was way over filled, I changed the oil with the correct amount and the leak stopped. The radiator has a leak, that I've tried to fix it but I've just slowed it down. I have heater control cables that I haven't had a chance to put on. The pictures shows that I have chrome mods on but I do have the original wheels with just 1 hub cap. It is missing a wheel stud but I do have the replacement. The wheel stud and radiator are the reasons that I wouldn't recommend it being driven for a long distance. There are alot of things that I have that is too much to list. The winner will take responsibility for the cost of shipping or picking up the car. On Jan-22-11 at 07:30:44 PST, seller added the following information: Added: Some things I forgot to mention: it does have a new tune-up, the man that I bought it from tuned it up, but I assume he didn't tighten the distributor down because it was loose, I set the timing by ear and tightned it down, so I am sure it will need a timing light put on it, but the plugs, wires, points, condenser, and such are all new. Also, there are things in the pictures that appear to be missing, i.e. glove box, support bracket, and so on, I have the parts, just don't have them installed.
