1965 GMC shortebd widebody on air bags.... truck goes very low! 305 small block chevy, turbo 350 transmission, hooker fenderwell headers, Stahl flanges, cherry bomb header mufflers, all tucked up in frame so they don't drag teh ground, Dana rearend, massive 12" c-notch in frame so it will go LOW, air bag rear suspension (no air management system) with 12" - 14" travel, Edelbrock carb and intake, ready to go rat rod or restore.... it's the short bed wide body everyone is looking for. Truck is in decent shape, rust in the usual spots but all in all, very sound. New windsheildd and seal, Speedway powersteering bracket, new chrome valve covers, steering column raised to clear headers, headlights, tailights and brake lights all work. Runs and drives great (needs electric choke hooked up) and could use a good time and tune, but I have driven 100 miles in any direction without problems. Power steering from a 76 chevrolet installed and works great, there is no heater, no stereo (but I will include a 600 watt full stereo system including CD/MP3 head unit, 600 watt amp an 10" subwoofer and enclosure), wide rally wheels, B&M Shifter, bucket seats, burgandy interior, cross hatch interior panels, etc. Truck has factory interior gas tank as well as custom beer keg gas tanks in the bed, all work and total capacitiy is over 30 gallons. This is not a show truck.... it's rat rod for sure. Truck needs work to be a show truck, but as for a rat rod, it is amazing and gets looks everywhere I go. On Jan-22-11 at 19:31:26 PST, seller added the following information: for all of the people emailing me..... this truck has SOOOOOO much work done to it, I am not goiing to sell outside of eBay. The C-notch, trailing arms, panhard bar and the fact that everything is squared up, makes this truck worth soo much more than other rigs out there. The trans was just rebuilt with a TIGHT shift kit and was done right, the Dana rearend has mid set gears and was just redone (should be 3.55 or 3.73 ratio), the motor has brand new Stahl flanges, gaskets, powersteering from a 73 Chevy truck and new bracket from Speedway motors. I cannot stress how much custom work has been done to this truck..... it may need some work, but the crazy, hard, fab work is done. The air bags will get this bad boy to lay frame in the rear. This truck has more work into it than any other rat ord, low rider truck you will find on eBay..... just step up and hit my reserve. Its not as high as you'd think. I am selling this truck to fund a chopper project, and that is the ONLY reason I am selling. Otherwise, I would keep and just drive as it is. Questions... let m know.
