Nice little Ranchero with power steering option. Needs floors as it appears someone has put in metal where it appears it had sat at one time with the water in the floor. Otherwise very solid, although the tailgate need work. I bought the car with intentions of fixing for my grandaughter. She has decided it isn't for her. It has some fairly new wheels and tires, but could let go for less without those. I have ordered and new filler hose for the gas tank as it is in bad shape, and seeps gas at the moment. I have driven it a few miles and it drives out fair. It had not been started for a year or better before I bought it, and I had to install a fuel pump and clean the carb. The motor runs well for it's age, and can be driven, brakes are working. Originally brought to Illinois about three years ago it wasn't driven much. It needs totla restoration, but it a good staret, and solid. Power steering works but leaks as most of these ram style steering setups do after awhile. Transmission work well enough but was low when I got it and shows to need seal. I have installed some tranX fluid to see if this will help, but haven't driven it enough to see whether it will seal back up. Front and rear seals should be consider for it. I have started looking into the tailgate problem and will be working on it when I get the chance. Tailgate looks good but has an issue with the passenger side hinge. Drivers door has sagged and needs new hinge pins installed which came with the truck when I got it and go with the sale, unless I get around to installing these before it sells.
