Mustang convertible 1964 1/2 upgraded to 66 GT I have owned the car since 1980, complete restoration was done 8 years ago in my Mustang restoration shop "Franks Mustang" I must sell the car and close the shop due to age and health issues. The car has been covered and in my garage at home, and has been driven about once a month since the restoration. It is a beautiful 66, but could easily be converted back to a 64 1/2. The engine is a 289, 4 bbl stock, except for the high performance exhaust manifolds, Petronix Ignitions system, and GT dual exhaust. The block and heads were done at an excellent machine shop. The block was bored 30 over and the crankshaft 10 under and heads with hardened valves & valve seats. With a c-4 automatic transmission it runs Great!
