This is a RUST FREE 1994 F-250 XLT Reg cab 4X4 with the proven 460 coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. The 7.5 EFI engine runs strong and the 5- speed goes through all the gears as it should. 4X4 high and low range work on the transfer case. The clutch grips tight with no signs of unwanted slippage. The hubs are automatic, so no getting out to engauge them! The brakes feel good, no pulling or pulsating, they stop great! The tires are nearing their end. The power windows all go up and down and the power locks work as well. The radio works good. The interior is in excellent shape. The dual fuel tank switch works along with the gauges. There is a slight exhaust leak somewhere near the passenger side exhaust manifold. The windshield wipers work good. The speedometer is broken, but the Odometer registers mileage correctly. A used speedometer is available at almost every wrecking yard for less than $100. The Odometer is digital, and controlled by the computer. All the glass is good. There are several dings and dents throughout the body consistent with use of a work truck. The tailgate and hood being the worst. We just had the truck professionally aligned, so it goes down the road straight as an arrow without any pull. Keep in mind this is a used truck. Not a show truck. It looks very presentable but it isn't new. With any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief description. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection offered, there is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most vehicles are generally purchased by us at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. They have generally not undergone any type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. You should expect to do some type of basic scheduled maintenance or repairs to any USED vehicle listed on here or for that matter, ....anywhere. Titles. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have clear Title, in our possesion. We do NOT deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado automatically exempts the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That doesn't indicate that the mileage is unknown, or has been tampered with. It simply means they are no longer keeping track of mileage after that. Preparing, listing, and managing these online auctions costs real time and money. On Jan-18-11 at 15:36:01 PST, seller added the following information: Update 1/18/11, Today I spent a little more time driving this truck and noticed some more issues. There is a clunking noise that rarely/sometimes comes from the front axle area. It almost sounds like an automatic hub is trying to engage by itself. There is also an oil leak up by the distributor on top of the engine. Our feedback and reputation is important to us, and we do not want to jeapordize that. For this reason, if you have bid on the truck to the $2800 level , and want to have me cancel your bid, or you wish to retract it, I would certainly understand. I have had a question regaurding a buy it now price on this and have added one this morning as I will be away from the computer all day today because of auto auction. We were originally wanting $4550 for this truck believing it was in decent shape. In light of the oil leak from the engine (probably effecting emmissions testing) and the noise from the front axle area, plus the fact that the tires won't pass any required state safety inspection, I have reduced the "buy it now" to $3200 off the lot locally to try and help pay for some of these repairs. Keep in mind this will be sold is as-is/where is/no warranty of any kind. E bay will not let me add a buy it now button to this listing for some reason now. I may have to cancel this auction early with a local offer.
