Up For Auction!! 1981 Chrysler Imperial Coupe 318-V8, Automatic Transmission Only 83,xxx Actual Miles!! Very Rare--Only 7225 Produced in 1981 We've owned this car for a little over two years and it's in very good shape for it's age. It has a little over 83,000 actual miles; although, just after we purchased the car, the digital dash quit working. We do have another dash that will go with the car. The original 318 starts and runs smooth, free from any misses and the auto transmission shifts good; however, I would suggest that the winning bidder haul the car home as we haven't had the car inspected or driven it on any long distance trips. A new battery was installed last week as well. The car appears to have it's original sheet metal and paint, which is good shape. There is a small spot where the paint is bubbling ( probably 2" in length) on the deck lid and the rear bumper has an imperfection. Otherwise the body is in very good shape. This classic coupe would make a good weekend driver or parade car. The winning bidder will need to pick up and pay for the car within 7 days after the end of auction. Cash or cashier's check only.
