It's a true AMERICAN luxury car Regaining its glory. The Bottom Line: This car represents strong American car manufacturing. Invest in craftsmanship, quality, and safety. In short, this is the car for anyone, anywhere, near this price range. A wonderful comfortable automobile. I first drove the Deville to Miami for auto dealer’s conference, appropriate because I was wearing a coat and tie and the Deville’s suspension superbly soaked up Miami down town, rough, streets. The Deville’s suspension settings provide a well-controlled ride. Bumps are felt, but muffled to comfortable levels. Go around a fast, sweeping turn and potholes and bumps won't upset the suspension, a benefit of the Deville’s highly rigid chassis. This makes the Deville safer and more comfortable to drive in tight quarters, which is important in the big city where you're often surrounded by big trucks and aggressive cab drivers. I accelerated out of a sweeping turn, noticing the well-controlled steering, thinking that the Deville should be able to hang onto the rear bumper of a BMW 5 Series. All those thoughts evaporated when I noticed way up ahead a Florida state trooper standing next to his car pointing a radar gun at me. I jammed on the brakes. The ABS kicked in, preventing wheel lockup, so all the trooper noticed was a little nose dive as the Deville quickly moved into compliance of the law. Braking was sure, stable and effective, with nice firm pedal feel. Completely redesigned, the system combines large four-wheel disc brakes with a small, lightweight anti-lock system. An electronic brake distribution system helps reduce stopping distances by distributing the braking force front to rear for optimum performance. In normal, everyday, around-town applications, the brake pedal feels smooth and progressive, making it easy to slow the car down smoothly. This Deville comes with the superb North star V8 engine, which develops 275 horsepower. What really impressed me was the calibration of the transmission and the way it communicates with the engine. We safety inspected serviced this beauty and she is ready to go, anyplace, any time. The air conditioning is ice cold the heater works properly as well. This particular model is also equipped with the winter package, heated front and rear seating, wood grain accents, exterior temperature display, compass, rear fan control, abs, child locks, cargo net, remote starting, dual, power, front seats, traction control, dual exhaust, leather interior, CD, cassette audio, power, driver seat memory controls and much more. The Red Tint Coat Metallic, also called cherry blossom metallic, exterior still shines like the Florida Sun and has no major dents, dings or scratches, normal wear and tear, she looks very clean!! The sand-color leather interior is extremely nice condition. I didn’t notice any smoky odors. Smells fresh and is a non-smoker. There are no rips, tears or fading and shows normal signs of wear. 4 new tires, are in excellent condition, appear to have just been replaced, and ride on, 16", aluminum, alloy, wheels. Onstar, includes Personal Calling, which allows drivers to initiate and receive hands-free, voice-activated phone calls without an additional cellular contract and Personal Advisor, which delivers Internet-based news headlines, sports scores, stock quotes, and weather reports. This is a subscription service. This Deville has a perfectly stable backseat ride; auto-load leveling prevents bottoming out, regardless of the number of passengers or how many pieces of baggage you've got in the trunk. There are miles of legroom in the rear and reading lights. All power items are in working order at this time. The Deville’s safety feature requirements, and structural beefing may have taken its toll on the power-to-weight ratio, yet the Northstar still delivers plenty of power on demand. Hello folks and thanks for stopping by our, " No Reserve" auction for this 2001 Cadillac Deville. It's a true AMERICAN luxury car Regaining its glory. The Bottom Line: This car represents strong American car manufacturing. Invest in craftsmanship, quality, and safety. In short, this is the car for anyone, anywhere, near this price range. A wonderful comfortable automobile. I first drove the Deville to Miami for auto dealer’s conference, appropriate because I was wearing a coat and tie and the Deville’s suspension superbly soaked up Miami down town, rough, streets. The Deville’s suspension settings provide a well-controlled ride. Bumps are felt, but muffled to comfortable levels. Go around a fast, sweeping turn and potholes and bumps won't upset the suspension, a benefit of the Deville’s highly rigid chassis. This makes the Deville safer and more comfortable to drive in tight quarters, which is important in the big city where you're often surrounded by big trucks and aggressive cab drivers. I accelerated out of a sweeping turn, noticing the well-controlled steering, thinking that the Deville should be able to hang onto the rear bumper of a BMW 5 Series. All those thoughts evaporated when I noticed way up ahead a Florida state trooper standing next to his car pointing a radar gun at me. I jammed on the brakes. The ABS kicked in, preventing wheel lockup, so all the trooper noticed was a little nose dive as the Deville quickly moved into compliance of the law. Braking was sure, stable and effective, with nice firm pedal feel. Completely redesigned, the system combines large four-wheel disc brakes with a small, lightweight anti-lock system. An electronic brake distribution system helps reduce stopping distances by distributing the braking force front to rear for optimum performance. In normal, everyday, around-town applications, the brake pedal feels smooth and progressive, making it easy to slow the car down smoothly. This Deville comes with the superb North star V8 engine, which develops 275 horsepower. What really impressed me was the calibration of the transmission and the way it communicates with the engine. We safety inspected serviced this beauty and she is ready to go, anyplace, any time. The air conditioning is ice cold the heater works properly as well. This particular model is also equipped with the winter package, heated front and rear seating, wood grain accents, exterior temperature display, compass, rear fan control, abs, child locks, cargo net, remote starting, dual, power, front seats, traction control, dual exhaust, leather interior, CD, cassette audio, power, driver seat memory controls and much more. The Red Tint Coat Metallic, also called cherry blossom metallic, exterior still shines like the Florida Sun and has no major dents, dings or scratches, normal wear and tear, she looks very clean!! The sand-color leather interior is extremely nice condition. I didn’t notice any smoky odors. Smells fresh and is a non-smoker. There are no rips, tears or fading and shows normal signs of wear. 4 new tires, are in excellent condition, appear to have just been replaced, and ride on, 16", aluminum, alloy, wheels. Onstar, includes Personal Calling, which allows drivers to initiate and receive hands-free, voice-activated phone calls without an additional cellular contract and Personal Advisor, which delivers Internet-based news headlines, sports scores, stock quotes, and weather reports. This is a subscription service. This Deville has a perfectly stable backseat ride; auto-load leveling prevents bottoming out, regardless of the number of passengers or how many pieces of baggage you've got in the trunk. There are miles of legroom in the rear and reading lights. All power items are in working order at this time. The Deville’s safety feature requirements, and structural beefing may have taken its toll on the power-to-weight ratio, yet the Northstar still delivers plenty of power on demand.
