Here is a very nice example of the classic Galaxie 500XL convertible. Repainted once about 13 years ago to very high standard.All rubber trim was replaced. Paint has held up very well and body is straight, not a show car but quite presentable. Interior is original and in remarkable condition considering the age. Dash is excellent,door panels,seats,carpets etc. very well kept.Chrome was all redone at the same time and still great. Trunk,floor boards,rockers etc. very solid. Car was always garaged and very rarely driven for last 25 years.Power convertible top works nicely and is in great shape. Mechanically she has been gone thru over the last year. Engine was completly rebuilt,trans rebuilt,new master cylinder,rebuilt brake drums,new fuel tank and fuel lines. all reciepts available for recent work. car runs and drives just wonderfully. These cars from the late sixties are a real pleasure to drive. Loads of power and torque.Tires have less than 5000 miles on them. New black padded soft top boot. Original hubcaps in trunk. rally wheels where added when restoration took place. If your looking for a reliable classic luxury convertible that you can drive for fun or to shows this is it. All lights,blinkers,dash and interior lights,warning lights,brake lights,gauges etc. work properly. Newer water temp,amp,and oil pressure gauge mounted under the dash.
