It has not been looked at by a mechanic, and I don't know the extent of the problem. I didn't trade this car in when I purchased my new car, and later noticed the leaking radiator. I have never driven it with the leak, only noticed it while it was sitting in the driveway. Otherwise, the car has some minor paint scratches and a little wear, but it is in good condition.
