Vehicle Detail

The title on this is rebuilt / reconstructed and there is no lien against the car. I hold the title outright. After the car was complete I took it to DMV they inspected it and assigned a rebuilt title. Why the insurance company totaled the car i have no idea, it was exspensive to fix, but in no way was it totaled the air bags never even deployed. First of all I did all the repairs on this myself. I bought it wrecked from safeco insurance back in 2008. I then replaced all the parts with factory oem parts off another A6 that was tagged in the rear end. The last thing you need to worry about with this car is safety. It is triple wall constructed with the worlds strongest German metal. Weighing near 4000lbs. this thing is a tank. As soon as I finished the body work I had the transmission flushed, serviced with a new filter and fluid, and the shift points adjusted to factory specs. i also had a pre purchase inspection done so I could address any issues, there was nothing major. Car runs super smooth and drives like a dream. I have driven lots and lots of A6's and A8's and this car drives and runs nicer than 90% of them. Most have were newer none in the 2002-2004 range compared. Anyway it's just talk, I invite you to come look and drive for yourself. With the money the branded title is saving it's actually feasible. Everything works on this car and there are no warning lights on of any sort. Interior is immaculate with only a small tear in the drivers seat from a mans wallet. 20' ADR rims that you can not get anywhere. Every option under the sun plus a couple. Rear drivers side vent recently replaced and no tint on it yet, also missing two pieces of door trim due to vandalism. Car was recently at Sunset Audi in Beaverton, Oregon (serviced by Cody #6 Audi certified mech. in the nation) for a voluntary recall and had a clean bill of health. New Plugs installed about a month ago so she just purrs. This has been my personal vehicle and I have only put 15000 miles on her in the near three years I've owned it. The only reason I am selling is because I just bought a wrecked 2006 and its my new baby. This car was licensed in an area where it is not required to go through DEQthat is why the report shows emmissions issues. I have done some research and can get it shipped as far as Kentucky for $500.00. My brother in law is a dealer and has several shipping connections. Feel free to contact me with questions about shipping quote. I showed picture of trim that is missing on 2 of the doors. There is a small crack in the corner of the windshield as shown in pic, it has been there since I bought the car. to better clarify the rear drivers side vent window was recently replaced and I have yet to tint that vent window. The other windows are tinted at 85%. I have tried to describe accurately anything that is wrong with the car. The car is ready to drive, you do not need to do anything to it. You can come pick it up and drive it to Boston if you like. I have made sure all the fluids are full, none are leaking. This car has not even burned two quarts of oil in over 2 years. If I was keeping the car the only thing I would address is the timing belt within the next 15,000 miles. The three times I have had scheduled maintenance done on this ride the only thing they have said I need to consider scheduling, is a timing belt replacement before 120,000 miles. Now I did some research and one can have this done anywhere from 700 to 1500 bucks. As with any car it is suggested that you replace the timing belt somewhere before 120,000 miles. The transmission shifts absolutely perfectly. The service at 85,000 miles was the best money ever spent. It probally close to doubled the life of the tranny. Upon closing of auction before buyer recieves car I will have a professional detail done to car so it arrives pristine and ready to roll.On Jan-05-11 at 01:47:04 PST, seller added the following information: I will add more pictures to my photobucket, go on the link and zoom in on the pics for better viewing. I could not figure out how to upload good pics to my ad.On Jan-05-11 at 02:50:04 PST, seller added the following information: The autocheck by Experian is not very accurate. It shows no accidents, yet the car was hit when I bought it. Major title issues? There are no major title issues. It was more effective for the insurance company to total the car than fix it. Lets face it, it is super costly to do. If they decided to have it fixed they could never sell it for enough to cover the cost to fix it even with a clean title, so they total it. It cost me 3500 with fees to purchase this car, bought a second car for 5500 took the parts I needed and resold it for 3000. Wheels and tires 1500, windows tinted 250, paint 1200 tranny service and pre purchase inspection 350. Add that up its about 8500 before labor to fix this car, thats why they totaled it not because it was structurally unsound. This it what really happened. Car gets in fender bender, no airbags even go off. Insurance company claims car as total loss and sells it to me for $3000. I fix the car and take it to DMV where it is inspectedt and a rebuilt title is issued. Thats it, there are no issues with this car. I am only the second owner. The first owner bought it directly from Audi at a dealer auction in New York, it was a certified loaner. Dan moved here to Portland Or. and got in a wreck in Vancouver Wa. I know him and that is how I got hooked up with his insurance company. Nothing weird or out of the ordinary. Heck, I just unbolted pieces off one and bolted them on the other there's really nothing to it. Like I originally said this is your chance to buy a nice car for a good price DO NOT LET THE BRANDED TITLE SCARE YOU
