Up for auction is a 1996 Impala SS. I bought this car as a project car and just don't have the time for it anymore when I have two other cars being built right now. It's a True Impala SS with a floor shifter. The car was originally a dark maroon color, but has been repainted to it's current color. The door handles have been shaved as well as the antenna on the passenger side fender. It has an after market power sunroof. The interior of the car is all stock with the original leather seats and embroidered SS head rests. All windows work, but the driver's side window switches need to be replaced. The motor is the stock LT1 Corvette motor and runs great and has a aftermarket exhaust ( Sounds Great!! ) The transmission has been replaced with a heavy duty transmission with Corvette internals. The suspension of the car has been modified to have air ride and the rear suspension has been C-notched and has after market track bars to center the rear wheels in the wheel wells. The compressor and rear tank are new. It also has drop spindles in the front. The 20" Billet specialty wheels are in great condition and the tires have 80-90% tread left. The title says ORIGINAL not salvage, but the auto check for Ebay says salvage. The dash says 84,900 miles but the Ebay car check says around 98,000 miles. The air ride has a small air leak in one of the lines, but still works great. I lost the remote door popper, but they are very cheap to replace.
