Don't let the miles scare you this car is running great and the miles have been mainly highway miles. These cars are built to run for 300k + miles. Although this car has 124k miles on it, it is ready to run for another 125k miles easily without any major maintenence needed.
The Avalon is rated as one of the top luxury sedan available by consumer reports and has been rated as one of the most reliable for as long as Toyota has been making them. If you have not driven an Avalon go drive one, they are huge inside and still get 30 MPG !
This car is in great shape and I just put a bunch of money in it getting it ready for the winter and I hate to sell it, however we are expecting a child soon and we decided to sell this Avalon to get an SUV. We also own a newer Avalon which we are keeping. There are no known mechanical problems and the car has never been in an accident as far as we know. We are the second owner of this vehicle. Purchased it in 2009 from a dealership where the original owner traded it in for a newer vehicle. We are non-smokers and were told the original owners also did not smoke in it.
This Avalon has every option that Toyota offered. This is a very hard to find Special Blue / Green Seafoam Paint with Tan Leather interior. The Blue / Tan Leather combo is amazing. It is the XLS / Limited trim model which includes Heated Leather Seats. Two Person Memory Settings retain seat position and side mirror position for two drivers. Just hit the memory button and your seat and mirrors move to your preferred positions automatically. Dual Digital Climate Control, Vehicle Stability Control V.S.C , Homelink System allows you to program up to 3 garage doors or arm / disarm a home security system.
This Avalon also has a Custom $1,500 Pioneer Avic GPS Navigation car stereo system installed with the factory JBL Sound Speaker system. The Pioneer system includes GPS turn by turn navigation with voice activation, Bluetooth Handsfree Calling, Ipod / Iphone Integration with Ipod Cable ran to center Console, optional Pandora, Sirrius, or XM Satelite radio, a Built in DvD player (Yes you can put in a DvD and watch it on the screen) and so much more. This system was professionally installed at Best Buy and includes a warranty from Best Buy for the installation. The factory Radio will also be included and Best Buy will re-install the factory radio at any time for free. If you are not interested in the fancy Navigation system I am willing to have the factory radio installed and would discount the price of the car an additional $500.00.
You will be happy to know that unlike buying a used car from a dealership we will make sure this car is clean and detailed before you pick it up. I have provided plenty of pictures to show the excellent condition the car is in. Apart from some expected scratches / minor nicks and dinks on the exterior, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car cosmetically. As stated before it has never been in an accident as far as we know not even in a minor fendor bender. Mechanically everything works and runs like new.
