NO RESERVE!!! Hello! Up for auction is a 1982 GMC LWB truck with a fresh 383 Stroker engine. This truck runs great! It will pass everything on the highway except the gas stations. I purchased this truck from a mechanic who built this engine for another car. I had intended on pulling the motor and putting it in a camaro. I started using it as a back and forth to work truck and just decided to start tinkering with it. I replaced the front clip and bed from a 1983 chevy because it needed it and I liked the look of the Chevrolet front end better. I added a phantom grille and bumper to complete the look. I replaced the shocks with good used ones and I had the truck painted because it was multi-colored. The paint job isn't bad but I didnt do any bodywork so there are still dents and whatnot. The bed isn't painted because I was going to put a spray-in bedliner. The truck has 15" crager wheels but it will need some tires pretty quick. The brakes act like there is air in the lines so it doesn't stop like it should. The interior has been painted black which looks good with the white but I was going to replace it all. The seat is marron as are the seatbelts but it needs a recover. Ultimately, I have lost interest in this truck as I did not really have interest in it to begin with. It has potiental for someone looking for a project or a reliable daily driver. Again, the truck runs great and with a little tlc, it could be a great first car or toy. The motor is a low milage 383 stroker with lots of goodies and it also has the 12 bolt rear-end to handle the power. I thank you for your time and have a very Happy Holidays!
