I owned this car new. Sold it about seven years ago, it was in great shape. The guy I sold it to did not take care of it. So I bought it back with the intention of fixing it. I did repair most of what was wrong but then the heater core went out, which requires removing the dash, and I never got back to it. With out any doubt the car needs work. But is not that far off after the heater core gets replaced (which I have and goes with the car) .The engine was running strong, the drive-train was good, ride was good, and the interior is good,-minus the dash pad (which is cracked). The body is in great shape and the car has never been wrecked (the nose was backed into in 1987 and was then repaired). The car has been parked for about three years. The tires have dry-rot. 1982 is ther first year for the "wedge style" and I believe the best body style the supra has ever had. This car would make an excellant canidate to restore back to its glory.
