Vehicle Detail

Very nice barely used TS-250 with original everything. Garage Kept and Covered. Acquired from a neighbor that has been the second family member to own this bike. (He bought it from his brother) Nothing missing but the tool bag. Appears to be completely original except for the hand grips which are the soft foam type. Has good compression and fired right up after I cleaned the carburetor out. Note that the throttle slide looked factory fresh with no visible signs of wear. Tank is in good shape with no dents though it does have a few garage handling scratches in the paint and the paint itself is 36 years old though not badly faded since it was a garage queen. Inside tank shows slight surface rust that would clean up easily with etch or what have you, no need for Kreem. Seat has a small tear near the left rear bottom side. Other than that the seat is in nice shape and still remarkably pliable. Forks are straight and clean, no pitting on the chrome. Wheels are straight, chrome is good and tires are still a matched set that though worn, show no signs of sidewall cracking and hold air well. Front fender is in very nice shape with just some paint rub by the steering head where the wire bundle has rubbed it. Rear fender is straight save for some small cracks below the taillight where it appears to have been bumped in the garage or had a handlebar holding semi-loop event from a misguided first gear wheelie. Expansion chamber is in very nice shape with only surface rust on the front half, of the level you would see on a bike a couple of years old. A good glass beading and paint would make it look factory new.. Engine shows well and outside of the clear-coat fading that is normal on older bikes there are no real flaws. Again, a simple bead blasting and clear-coat and it would look factory fresh. All fins are intact on cylinder and head. Owner reports that he had the top end done one time, years ago, and put very few miles on it since. All cables are intact and work well. Lenses on lights are all good. Overall a very nice period piece that is in very collectible shape and would restore to factory condition very easily. Represented simply and honestly with the data available to me. I can put you in contact with the original owner for further details. Happy Holidays........... Feel free to ask questions. Don't bother if you are a scammer from West Africa or Indonesia, I won't take the bait.
