Hello Fellow Early Porsche fans. I bought this 911 with the intentions of backdating it to a long hood or hot rodding it a bit. I just sold my house and I am moving. I have a few too many things going on right now and would like to pass this on to someone who can bring it back to life. Obviously I bought it because the color is AWESOME. This would be gorgeous once redone. Here is what I can tell you, I found it in an old garage where it had been sitting for 17 years. Only two owners. 117,800 miles. The pics will speak to the rust, there is not nearly as much rust as most early cars I have seen. The interior is in very good shape. I was told it was parked because of an oil leak. I was also told the engine was rebuilt less than 5000 miles before it was parked. There is evidence that the engine was in fact rebuilt, you can see the chain tensioner upgrade and also note the 11 blade fan. The only things I have done is to put some gas in the car and check a few things, everything seems to work, gauges and the like. I did not want to damage anything, I did verify the engine will spin freely. I turned the key a few times and had someone behind the car verify it spins freely, I did not make attempts to start it, only verify it is not seized and that it will spin. Terms of the sale are $500 deposit via paypal within 24 hours (non refundable). Since I am moving, this car must be picked up and paid in full within 5 days from listing end. International is fine except you need to arrange everything on your part and cash must be delivered in hand before the car moves.
