Here is a 1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Convertible with its Original 351W which runs like a top but will need some cleaning up, this cougar will need to be restored but is a gret starting point. The Original FMX Trans shifts great with No noticeable issues. Came with Power steering, power disc brakes on the front. Only 4024 Convertibles were made this year and getting very hard to find. Here's your chance to buy at a great price while the market is still recovering and restore while your driving. The Interior is actually still Original and Very Nice, The door panels look great, the Original leather seats are still very soft with only a couple tears along the seems, the carpet is faded and will need to be replaced, the original power top still works great and is still very nice with No tears, the dash pad is very sraight with No cracks, overall the Interior could be New with a few bucks invested. The front grill is nice and straight with No broken bars which is very unusual. The white paint is cracked and will need a nice paint job, and all trim will have to be polished up, the bumpers will also need rechroming, I do have the front bumper and can install before transporting. There are a few dents as expected, the worst being on the passenger side front fender (picture). the drivers lower rear Quarter will also need to be patched, they do sell this section for $75 aftermarket.
