Vehicle Detail
this is a car i have spent years and more money than i care to ever remember building. ill try to break it down into 3 major sections but im sure i will still forget alot of things. im sure if i parted it out it would sell for over $10k but i dont have the time and i got to sell it i have a new baby and need to buy a family car. THIS CAN BE PARTED OUT FOR $10K I NEED IT GONE DONT HAVE TIME TO FINISH OR PART OUT OMG this thing is worth SOOOOO much more. Heads, trans, clutch, flywheel, and driveshaft would sell for asking price nevermind another $5k in the motor alone (forged pistons,rods,400 crank, cmon people someone needs to see the value here it needs to go now ok here goes. THE CHASIS: its a clean florida titled mazda rx7 with 57k miles on the chasis. the interior is verry clean and is all there. only 1 small rip on the side of the driver seat. ( right on the seam should be a easy fix) carpet is amazing. sunroof works. crank windows work. hatch works. no ac. no heat (but could be plummed heater core does not leak) the windsheild wipers where removed but i still have to motor only needs linkage found at local junk yard for $20 but never cared to buy this car is way to scarry to drive in the rain anyway lol rwd lots of power. it has new tires all around and factory rx7 wheels. slotted and drilled rotors all around all new. paint is factory looks good not perfect but good looking car for sure. has grannys subframe installed. for more info in these go see grannysspeedshop.com has aem wideband and temp guage installed in the dash one empty pod hole for anothe guage also has a. car only has straight pipes no mufflers. i do have the hood its just not on the car THE POWERTRAIN: FRESH BUILD 1970's small block chevy with 2pc rear main seal bored and stroked 383 stroker motor fully forged with dishtop pistons and 4 bolt main. 9.1 compression. edelbrock performer cam manafold and 750 carb. dart heads. msd distributor and blaster 3 coil, comp cams roller rockers. centerforce flywheel ram powergrip clutch and t56 six speed transmission. pro 5.0 shifter grannys driveshaft vsd turbo 2 rear end with 4.10 gears (yep that alone is worth more starting price). elec fan togel switched, holley blue pump and regulator. braided steel fuel line ran all the way from the tank to the carb (inside frame rail pritty cool protects agaist heat and debris) aluminum radiator aem wideband custom built true dual straight pipes 2.5 all the way back. sanderson headers, THE STORRY BEHIND: 2 years ago i bought a verry clean 1990 rx7 with the rottory motor. i drove it for months loved it but thought it would be badass to have it as a v8. ( i was right) i bought the grannys kit and installd a lt1 350 pullout motor form a camaro WOW bolt on 120hp this thing was great. ater another 6 months i was toying with the idea of turbocharging it. but with the factory cast pistons and 100k on the clock already i decided naa ill go fresh built forged insted. i parted out the lt1 and ended up buying a crate motor (the 383 that is in there now) it was built buy a pro shoop here in south west florida. i heard it run and ran tests on it before buying it and everything. great motor. i installed it with the t56 and a new powergrip clutch.(this was months of a process) during this whole time i was promoted to a manager at work and got my wife pregnant with kid number 3. the windsheild wiper linkage was damaged when i installed the motor so that will need replaced for it to have winsheild wipers. i never drove it in the rain anyway so i dont care too much. just recently wife had the baby and i never have time to work on it anymore. yesterday i was going to get it fired up for the first time in a while. it turns over a few times backfires a few times then all of a sudden the starter breaks or something because now starter spins but motor does not motor turns good by hand but starter spins freely. i now work all the time and want to spend more time with my family. this could make a great car to fix up and drive or race or even a good money maker for someone to part it out. i dont care to waste anymore on it. i need to buy my wife a safer van. and focus more at work and at home. the car is a fase of my life i can no longer spend time on for now $5k is my bottom number if its bought for 5k i keep my battery, aem wideband, and acceleromiter, hate to sell wish i had time to work on it its got to go. but i cant afford to sell for less than 5k i will pay someone to part it out for me before i sell it for that
