Very rare 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Factory Turbo-Look Widebody! M491 Factory Option ($12,000 option) makes this car 1 of only 354 exported to the US in 1984! Certificate of Authenticity issued by Porsche AG is included (see photo). Gorgeous black exterior with brand new ($1400 and to factory specs) black leather interior. Of course, all Turbo components including Suspension, Steering, Cross-Drilled Rotors, Brakes, and Body. Power Windows, Power Sunroof, Alpine Stereo, Brand New Alpine Speakers, and Alpine Amplifier. Momo Carbon-Fiber Shift Knob, Weltmeister Short-Shift Kit, Fitipaldi Sport Steering Wheel, Turbo Wheels, New Tires, Rebuilt Original Powder-Coated Red Turbo Brakes, New Battery. As with all 911's of this vintage, the A/C leaves lots to be desired. The sunroof vinyl needs to be replaced (see pics), but sunroof opens and closes fine. FM Antenna not hooked up,so does not get FM reception very well. Driver's side door lock does not like to be locked (interior shop apparently hooked it up wrong when installing new door panels,as it worked fine before). This is 1 of 4 vehicles I own, plus an airplane and 2 boats, so it is driven rarely and only during sunny weather and not in the SC summer. In fact, I have only put about 4000 miles on it since Feb 2005. This car was purchased from a PCA member in NY and the engine was replaced just prior to me purchasing it (see photo of receipt) at 87,000 miles. Yes, that is an almost $7,000.00 bill to rebuild the engine to factory specs!! So, this engine only has 8,500 miles on it since full rebuild!!! Super strong engine, great interior, perfect handling, and absolutely gorgeous styling. If you love the classic 911, this car is a great example and these factory widebody cars are few and far between.
