Vehicle Detail
[[Title]] Porsche 911 E Coupe VIN # 9113200919 is a good running and driving car that needs paint and some repair but will make a great restoration or great opportunity for an RS clone. The car is a matching numbers car with all the original panels and original engine and transmission. The car was originally Sepia brown and was repainted Aubergene. Mileage shows 54977 but the speedos on these cars only go to five digits and it is probably 154977. The body is sound with proper fitment of the doors and deck lids and the doors shut with the little "riiiing" sound that only comes from undisturbed doors that were fitted originally at the factory. There is one rust spot at the pedals that will need to be repaired but the replacement panels are readily available and you would need to just do that one six inch section of the floor. Rocker panels and the floor itself is all solid and the area under the torsion bars is solid. Battery boxes are in good shape. Motor # 6231443 runs well and has no curious noises or smoking. Original motor to the car has had a Weber carb conversion and carbs are working well and the motor runs out well. Exhaust is in good condition and not rusted out. This coupe has Fuchs factory alloys and has the 5th alloy spare. The car has the very desirable factory Behr air conditioning and not the after market a/c. Paint on the car is gone but the body does not show the usual "bubbly" places at the bottom of the front fenders or at the front and rear cowl and the car is not a rusty car. Interior is really not too bad as the carpet set has been replaced, door panels are all in good condition and we have the flip out map storage boxes and they are in good shape and have the metal trim still on them, rear package tray under the back glass is good, and the headliner is in good shape. Seats have been updated to later model 911 seats in black. The dash has some type of cover on it that is wavy but the dash facia where all the instruments and glove box are are nice. Glass on the car is good. The car has the original radio. We are able to arrange and load reasonable transport to anywhere in the world. We have 40 years now repairing and racing Porsche cars and won three national championships for Porsche in a Speedster in SCCA racing and will be glad to answer any questions.
