Up for auction is this 1964 Ford deluxe ranchero. Upon purchase here in 1983 this then original 260 cubic inch V8 blue/yellow California license plate car (that was built here in L.A.) still had the original paint. Always stored inside and driven on rare occasions this car has been painted only twice with no body rust or dents...period!!! This car is in excellent condition, The doors, windows, and body fit are museum quality better than original. Recently installed rebuilt 302 engine, professionally rebuilt C4 transmission later style 6 bolt bellhousing not 5 bolt like original inferior style with munsinger heavy duty stock stall convertor. All parts on this car are either original stock or american best quality replacements....Nothing China or inferior. New exhaust, interior, rubber, glass, and everything including bed and even the new gas tank coated inside as well as the interior of bed has wolfliner coated professionally done: like rhino coating but better. All trim is either rechromed show quality triple and aluminum is clear anodized. No expense has been spared in keeping this original and or better than original. Has been updated to alternator and dual exhaust. I'm sure I'm leaving many things out but I will let the pictures and you decide, You will not be disappointed PERIOD! Non stock items installed as follows are: G.T. wheels, electric fuel pump for reliability, and steering column deleted shifter replaced with in floor mustang era replacement. New brakes, all suspension bushings, springs, and upper and lower arms, and steering tie rods and links. Codes are as follows body 66B deluxe ranchero, color A- Black, trim 66 black vinyl, date 21E- may 21,1964, d.s.o. 71, axle 4- (3:25 to 1), transmission 3.
