Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1990 Range Rover Classic. The truck has a very strong engine and excellent shifting transmission. The car does have some minor issues. But I currently use it as a daily driver. I am selling it because I just got a 1993 Range Rover Classic and I don't need two beautiful ladies in my life, one is plenty. Ok, Ok, my wife said I can't keep both of them. Seriously, its a great truck. I have a list below of some of the issues that the truck has. I brought the truck as a project. It was driven daily by the previous owner also. 1. The ABS Pump needs to be replaced. I found a gentleman on ebay that has a warrantied part for $95.00 2. The fabric on the sun roof is loose on one side. 3. Temperatue sensor on the water pump is faulty. The car doesn't over heat but the temperatue gauge doesn't work on the instrument cluster 4. Tires are at about 30% so I would probably look at replacing them I am located in the Atlanta area and will offer free delivery up to 100 miles. Happy bidding and I'm sure whoever wins will enjoy this truck as much as I have. I have the brush bar in the photos but will not be including them in the sale. On Dec-14-10 at 20:41:28 PST, seller added the following information: I purchased this truck more than a year ago, I have done regular maintenance on this vehicle. I’ve spent over 1400 dollars on replacing the distributor, ignition coil and alternator. I brought this vehicle as a project because it had relatively low miles and a great engine, transmission and body. However, between work, family and trying to get some sleep every now and then I didn't get a chance to put a lot of time into it. Overall as you can see it is in pretty decent shape besides from the minor issues that I will listed below, but overall a good daily reliable driver. The exterior still shines nicely, and shows little wear and tear from being 21 years old. The body is actually original and does not show any signs of accident or body filler. This is amazing! The truck does not have any rust, usually these things rot out quickly, but this one is solid. The paint shines well although it does have a few dings and dents that are hardly noticeable. The lights work well and sunroof area paint is not faded unlike many others it’s age. The headliner is good with just a small corner hanging down on the left side of the sunroof. Oh and the sunroof works well. The interior is original and looks great with front and rear seats along with carpets looking good. They don’t have the worn and cracked surfaces you’ll find in similar aged vehicles. The dash is average with the outlet covers loose on the ones on the passenger side. The front seats are powered and work only in front and back positions. The switch switches are in good shape and all work well. The front passenger window stopped going up and down a couple of months ago and its door sticks sometimes. There is no stereo. The previous owner replaced the stock with his own radio and then took that with him when he sold the truck. Mechanically this car has been nice. I have been the proud owner of 5 Range Rovers now over the past 17 years. I have had great enjoyment with each one. So, I can confidently say this one in particular is very solid running and has tight suspension; the suspension is not air controlled its old style spring and shock operated which never breaks down. The engine sounds very healthy does not leak or smoke and tarts right up every time and sounds healthy. The transmission shifts fine through all gears and runs nice. The engine compartment is clean, however my power steering hose is leaking oil and will need to be fixed, and the hose has been leaking for the last 2 months. Anyone one that has had a classic will tell you this is a common problem. I have replaced two on previous classics I’ve owned. I add about half quart of power steering oil every month. You can find very cheap ones on EBay for around $45. The battery is an new Interstate Battery. I have tried to disclose all that I know about a car when selling it here on EBay, so there are no surprises, please understand this is a old car and it does not have any warranties. What you see is what you’ll be getting. Have fun bidding and please ask all questions before bidding, not after... for questions regarding the vehicle or shipping,, please email or call directly 404-392-1376. The title is clear and ready to be sold.
