Up for auction is a 1973 Jeep CJ5 with a 258ci straight 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed transmission and Dana 44 differential. 4" superlift springs, shackles and shocks. Towbar on front and rear spare tire with highlift jack mounted on rear bumper. The motor has very little mileage, does not smoke, leak or burn oil. Weber 2 barrel carburator with electric choke, MSD distributer, hydraulic clutch, and new exhaust system. Two gas tanks with electronic solonoid to switch tanks. All steel body and fenders with "" NO RUST"" All of the lights and speedometer work, gas gauge appears to work some times. water temp, oil pressure and volt gauges work. The only dents on body are the right front fender and at bottom of body below doors on both sides, "All as seen in photos" The best top is in good shape, rear side and rear plastic windows have some discoloration, or hazing but not too bad, there is a small tear @ zipper on right side rear plastic window. Both door windows have been replaced. Shoulder seatbelts are new. There is a little rock chip in the windshield and the horn does not work, that is about all that is wrong with this Jeep. There is no heater and it appears it has never had one,"no holes in firewall for hoses" This jeep is driven on a daily basis, it runs 55,60 miles an hour on highway just fine, and I have not had one problem with it.
