1953 Mercury 2 door Sedan with original 255 flathead and standard 3 speed transmission with working factory overdrive. Engine runs well and is all original with the exception of the distributor. This distributor has been upgraded with a new distributor eliminating the vacuum advance problems that are common on flatheads. Overall this car has very good paint and was painted 12 years ago. There are a few minor chips on the top of the left fender as shown in the picture. A few spots have some very minor bubbling at the bottom of the fenders and door which is also shown in the pictures. Interior is in near mint condition. New battery, master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders and in-line electric fuel pump. Tires are very good and the car comes with a set of original wheels, hubcaps and a car cover. Overall this is an excellent driver and runs straight down the road.
