1974 Triumph TR6 To find a TR6 for $4,995.00 is a Tremendous Buy !!!!!!! **** Lots of you know this, because there is almost 2,000 views, and over 85 "watchers" on this auction.**** Someone is going to be very happy that they bought this car. It is a good running car, and I have already done tons of the hard stuff. This is a good car for restoration, or can be a driver with a little more work . ** NADA "Low Book Value" for the TR6 is: $7,575 ** "Think"You can buy a "rusty piece of junk", and "pay more" for it! We all have seen plenty of those. You can also pay $7K/$8K/$9K? and get a car that needs body prep and paint,top,etc. that in pictures looks pretty. Do that and you really will be sick! You will have to do the same amount of work, as you will do to this car! Buy this car and be thousands ahead. You are looking at a 1974 Triumph TR6 with Great Potential. Prior to me buying it, the TR6 had not been on the road in years. It actually has a 1978 inspection sticker in the window! The car has been kept inside. I have spent thousands of dollars, and hundreds of hours on this car. The engine and gearbox on this TR6 are in good condition. It runs and shifts good. Needs top, but has nice top frame. Things done: Carpet set,Manifold stud and bolt set,Down pipe exhaust gasket,Complete "New" exhaust system,New rear wheel cylinders,Window cranks,Headlight switch,Fuel pump,Wiper blades,Clutch slave cylinder and "adjustable" push rod,Rear brake springs,Air filters,New headlight trim rings,Ash tray,Fuel filter,New "green" coolant hoses,New Trunk trim kit & Carpet, New Radiator Shroud, I also bought Michelin Red Line Tires with only 18k miles on them (impossible to find!). **I may have missed something. Bumpers have dents and scrapes. I examined the entire brake system(like new pads and shoes, "not sure how old"). No spare. This car is solid. Needs body prep, and paint, etc, etc.,etc. Keep in mind it is a 36 year old classic. I have had many of these cars and this is a good one. I have other priorities, and I simply can not finish it now .I have only driven it in my neighborhood. Check my feedback. I want to keep my 100%.
